Emotions are something that most of us have been trained to resist. Has anyone ever told you to “: suck it up”, “deal with it”, or “quit being a crybaby”……statements like this get ingrained into your psyche and can become part of your identity. We are told life isn’t fair or it can’t be your way all the time. These are untruths that will hold you back your entire life journey. I’m here to let you know that you are supposed to feel and to pay attention to your feelings. Your feelings are the only guide you have to happiness. The strange part is that we are encouraged to notice the good feeling but are likewise encouraged to suppress the not so good ones. This article is about acknowledging all of your feelings, all of the time. And if you want to be, do, and have a happier life journey then you must always pay close attention to all of your feelings, all of the time. This is not about living in the negative emotions; this is about acknowledging them. We all came into this world to enjoy the feelings of it. When you are not enjoying your journey it’s because you are not following your emotions. Probably because you were conditioned to ignore them. How in the world can you be happier by acknowledging your negative emotions you say!? Because it’s all about vibration. Each of us are putting off a vibration or a frequency if you will. When you ignore your negative emotions, they tend to imbed and fester. You not acknowledging them does not make them go, it just takes them off the front page. They are still in the book, and they are still part of your story. And while you’re saying I’m not going to think about that, you are indeed thinking about that. Causing your body’s vibration to be in a lower frequency. If you know anything about frequency, you know you get in whatever is going out. When you’re vibrating at a low frequency, that’s what will flow back to you. It doesn’t matter what you say, it’s how you feel. The frequency doesn’t return words, it returns like frequency. The one you are in tune with. Just like a radio dial. You can’t tune to 105 and receive 98.9 frequency. Your journey is the same. You get back what you put out. A simple way to raise your vibration is to acknowledge your feelings and go from there. When you notice a negative emotion, work it up. Don’t suppress it or try to ignore it. Be grateful for it and go from there. If a thought your thinking does not feel good and has a negative vibration for you, reword the thought in your mind until it’s as good as you can get it. Meaning make it as good as thought as you can without resistance (disbelief). Example: “Why is it that I can’t go anywhere without hitting all the red lights” ….a step up in thoughts would be, “I’m so glad I have working brakes and a running car and especially a gas pedal”, or “Hitting this stop light kept me out of that crash up the road”, or “If I had not been stopped at this light, I would not have seen that beautiful blue corvette at the corner”….anything that takes that negative thought and rewords it to something positive to you….You cannot go above what you can believe, or your vibration will not change. And what we believe will be different for everyone, there is no right or wrong answers here, just adjustments in our own vibrations. Give this exercise a try for a few days or a week. Let yourself be ok with where you are. Softly and playfully work your vibration up by changing the words. The words are for your pleasure only. Words do not vibrate, only the emotions you have attached to them. Change the story, change your journey. Change the vibration going out, change the vibration coming back in. When we have been conditioned for years to ignore the negative vibes, it may take some time to start acknowledging them, but that’s ok! Be kind to yourself. The more you practice, the easier it will get until you are just automatically raising any vibration you feel and enjoying the journey along the way!
